I have a deep love and appreciation for the hospitality industry. I enjoy eating out, exploring markets, and generally being around food.

In graduate school, I worked at Trader Joe’s stocking shelves and helping customers find products — and probably chatting with them too much. When I moved to New York City, there was a Sur la Table down the street, and I worked there as a part-time culinary assistant for almost 2 years.

When I shifted to freelance work in 2021, I had time in my schedule to finally try my hand in New York’s restaurant scene at Leland Eating and Drinking House. I’ve also worked in marketing and sales in two wine shops, and have sold pasta at Raffetto’s Pasta in New York’s West Village.
